August 2011 Barbeque
The 2011 Residents Barbeque was held on Saturday 27 August in the common area within the complex. Despite the early onset of rain, it cleared up by later afternoon and was well attended. We hope to have photos online soon, but in the meantime, you can review the 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2009 events.
Michael, our janitor for 10 years, retired on 27 July 2007. At a presentation ceremony on Thursday 26 July, we made a presentation on behalf of the members to thank him for his years of service at The Windmill. Photos from the evening are available here.
An online mailing list for owners and residents at The Windmill is now
available. This is a handy way to keep up to date with current events.
Subscribing to the mailing list is easy - just send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
with your full name, block, and apartment number. To send a message
to all list members, address it to email@example.com.
Members of the mailing list can also browse the list
archives at Yahoo Groups (you'll need to create a free account to
get access). Note that the list is not open to the general public.
